Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Fueler & Oiler / Light Mechanic to join our team. This full-time position typically operates Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed. Overtime opportunities are available during our busy season (April–October).

This role is ideal for a versatile, hands-on individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and contributing across multiple areas of operation.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform fueling and lubrication of heavy equipment

- Assist with basic maintenance and light mechanical repairs

- Operate loaders and other equipment as needed

- Support general shop and mining operations

- Maintain a strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance

- Conduct routine inspections and ensure equipment is in proper working condition

Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.

Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fueling, lubrication, and light mechanical work

- Solid understanding of basic heavy equipment maintenance

- Proven track record of safety, reliability, and strong work performance (references required)

- Experience operating heavy equipment preferred

- MSHA (Mining Safety and Health Administration) training is preferred

- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening

Compensation

- Competitive hourly wage based on experience and qualifications

- Hourly wage range: $28-$34/hr
