As a Truck Driver for The Jankovich Company, you’ll ensure safe, efficient, and reliable delivery of petroleum products to our customers across Southern California while upholding our commitment to safety, compliance, and exceptional service.
This is a non exempt, hourly position. Drivers regularly work extended shifts and are eligible for overtime and double time in accordance with California and federal law. Schedules may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays based on routes and customer demand.

Compensation Hourly pay range: $27.00 to $40.50 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Overtime and double time opportunities available.
As a member of the team, you will:
- Safely load, transport, and unload petroleum and lubricant products in compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and trailer equipment meets company quality standards and DOT requirements.
- Safely connect, transfer and unload fuel or lubricant products using pumps and hoses while monitoring gauges and performing spill prevention and environmental controls
- Accurately complete and submit delivery tickets, inspection reports, and required documentation.
- Deliver customer orders according to predetermined routes and schedules while adhering to all safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Unload products from the trailer and deliver items into designated customer receiving areas while performing damage control checks on items.
- Perform general housekeeping duties in and around your cab and trailer to ensure a clean, organized workspace.
- Secure equipment at the end of each shift and complete all required reports and documentation.
- Participate in safety meetings and ongoing driver training sessions.
- A current, valid Class A CDL with Hazmat (HME), Tanker, and Doubles Endorsements, and a clean MVR for the past three years.
- Current DOT medical certification and TWIC clearance (or ability to obtain).
- Minimum of two (2) years of commercial driving experience preferred; petroleum hauling experience a plus.
- Ability to climb ladders climb ladders, work at heights, pull hoses, and lift and move up to 50 pounds safely, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to lift, move, and stack product of varying sizes and weights using liftgates or other equipment.
- Strong commitment to safety, environmental compliance and customer service.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed to meet delivery schedules.
This position is designated as safety sensitive under DOT regulations and is subject to pre employment, random, post accident, and reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol testing. Candidates must pass a post offer drug test, background check, and road test
