Fuel Oil Delivery Driver

Overview

We are seeking a skilled PART TIME, SEASONAL Fuel Oil Truck Delivery Driver to join our team. We are a small family run business located in Fort Edward, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting fuel oil deliveries to our customers on a seasonal and part-time basis. Candidates must have CDL and a Hazmat endorsement. Starting at $21 an hour. Pay will be based on experience.

Duties:

- Deliver home heating oil seasonally.

- Load and unload oil safely and efficiently.

- Plan and execute route driving to meet delivery schedules.

-Driver must have the ability to be able to pull a delivery hose and work outside in varying weather/driving conditions.

- Assist with basic automotive repairs and maintenance on trucks when needed.

-Other basic duties around the garage.

Requirements:

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.

- Valid Hazmat Endorsement required.

- Experience with manual transmission vehicles.

- Proficient in loading and unloading fuel securely.

- Prior experience as a delivery driver is a plus. We are willing to train the right candidate (Valid CDL and Hazmat are required)

-Familiarity with manual transmission trucks

-Physical ability to handle heavy loads and perform vehicle inspections as needed.
