Formulation Technician

About the Role

Join a world-class team within the Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Division (CMD) in Sunnyvale, CA — a leader in developing high-quality chromatography solutions. As a Formulation Technician I, you’ll work in a manufacturing lab environment, helping to synthesize, test, and document ion exchange media used in chromatography consumables.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform testing of resin products using specialized lab instruments.

- Accurately record, report, and maintain production and testing documentation.

- Complete production work orders following standard operating procedures (SOPs).

- Maintain product quality and follow Good Laboratory and Manufacturing Practices (GLP/GMP).

- Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment; follow all PPE and safety guidelines.

Education & Experience

- Required: High school diploma or equivalent.

- Preferred: Some experience in manufacturing, production, lab work, or operations (training provided for the right candidate).

Skills & Abilities

- Understanding of lab procedures (SOPs), GLP/GMP standards, and basic math.

- Ability to use common hand tools (wrenches, torque drivers, tweezers, etc.).

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

- Computer skills with basic spreadsheet or database experience.

Physical & Work Environment

- Lift/move up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.

- Exposure to lab chemicals, fumes, and mechanical parts (PPE provided: lab coat, gloves, mask, safety glasses, etc.).

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
