Summary

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at TIS as part of our 2nd shift Truck Loading crew. In this role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts (as well as overhead cranes) to safely and efficiently load steel product onto our delivery trucks. Your contributions will be vital in supporting our operations and ensuring timely delivery of products.

Responsibilities

•

Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse.

•

Load and unload shipments, ensuring accuracy in inventory management.

•

Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure safety standards are met.

•

Assist in maintaining a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety regulations.

•

Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

•

Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center environment.

•

Familiarity with steel products and steel truck loading preferred.

•

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

•

Ability to move semi-trucks with flatbed trailers around warehouse yard is a plus.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
