Launch Your Career in Flooring Sales by Learning from the Best
This is a unique opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the flooring and interior finishes industry. You’ll be working directly with one of the top-performing sales professionals in the area— assisting with quoting, project setup, and client support for high-volume accounts. It’s a demanding role with a steep learning curve, but for the right person, it’s a launchpad to a long-term career in design sales.
What You'll Do:
•Generate and enter detailed quotes primarily based on notes and instructions provided by the senior account manager, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with client selections, plans, and project requirements.
•Organize and manage quote revisions, updates, and follow-ups.
•Support showroom appointments by preparing samples and documenting customer selections.
•Communicate with builders, designers, and clients to gather missing details.
•Learn the industry, systems, and product lines used by top-tier professionals.
Why Priano?
Priano is one of the region’s most respected design centers, serving trade professionals, builders, and design-savvy clients. Our 20,000-square-foot showroom features a beautifully curated selection of interior finishes — from flooring and cabinetry to countertops, appliances, stair treads, window treatments, and wall coverings.
As a team member, you’ll gain exposure to a wide variety of materials and applications, with access to extensive product knowledge (PK) training sessions, many of which are catered and led by top industry reps. Over time, you’ll build the foundation to become a confident and capable account manager with deep knowledge across multiple product categories.
What We’re Looking For:
•Strong attention to detail — accuracy in quoting is essential.
•High level of organization and follow-through.
•Solid computer skills — most tasks are completed using web-based platforms. You should be comfortable with email, spreadsheets, and shared documents (preferably in Google Workspace / G Suite or Microsoft Office) and familiar with tools like Gmail.
•Good math skills — including basic arithmetic, area and unit conversions, markups, and an understanding of margins.
•Ability to learn new software systems (Oracle’s NetSuite, RFMS Meaure, etc.)
•Some experience in flooring, construction, design, or sales support is preferred — but not required.
•Eagerness to learn, strong work ethic, and a commitment to long-term growth in the role.
Why This Role Matters:
•You’ll be a key part of a high-performing team, helping manage active jobs and keep everything on track.
•This position offers a front-row seat to how successful sales in this industry really work.
•Over time, the right candidate can grow into an account manager with strong earning potential.
This Role Is Ideal If You:
•Enjoy working with numbers, organizing information, and solving problems.
•Thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
•Want to get into the design and building industry but are willing to start at the ground level.
•Are looking for mentorship, growth, and a serious long-term opportunity.
