FLEX CDL Fuel Driver - FLEET & BULK FUELING

CDL Fuel Delivery Driver (Bulk & Fleet Fueling – Flexible Schedule) Pay: $28.00 – $30.00 per hour

Gaines Oil Company, a trusted leader in petroleum distribution since 1948, is seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL Fuel Delivery Driver to support both bulk fuel delivery and on-site fleet fueling (wet hosing) operations.

Position Overview

This position is responsible for the safe and compliant delivery of petroleum products to customer locations, including both traditional bulk deliveries and direct-to-equipment fleet fueling (wet hosing).

This is a flexible schedule position requiring a high level of availability to meet customer and operational demands.

Schedule Expectations

Candidates must be available to work a varied and rotating schedule, which may include:

- Early mornings, evenings, and overnight shifts

- Weekends and holidays

- Overtime and extended hours as needed

Schedules are subject to change based on business needs, weather events, and emergency response operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate a commercial vehicle in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies

- Deliver fuel to bulk plants, commercial accounts, and job sites

- Perform fleet fueling (wet hosing) by fueling vehicles and equipment on-site

- Operate fueling equipment including hoses, pumps, and meters safely and efficiently

- Complete delivery documentation, logs, and inspections accurately

- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections

- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service

Qualifications

- Valid Class A or Class B CDL

- Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required

- Current DOT medical card (or ability to obtain)

- Clean driving record

- Prior fuel delivery or fleet fueling experience preferred

Physical Requirements

- Ability to lift and handle hoses and equipment (up to 50 lbs)

- Ability to climb, bend, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Experience:

- Commercial Truck driving: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

- Hazmat Endorsement (Required)

- Tanker Endorsement (Required)

- CDL Class A or B (Required)
