We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fleet Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our fleet vehicles and equipment. Duties

•

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles, including diesel engines, and farm machinery.

•

Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot problems effectively to ensure timely repairs.

•

Conduct electrical system repairs and maintenance, ensuring all systems are functioning properly.

•

Weld components as needed to repair or fabricate parts for vehicles and equipment.

•

Align wheels and other components to ensure optimal performance and safety.

•

Assemble various parts and systems as required during the repair process.

•

Execute heavy lifting tasks safely while handling equipment and parts.

•

Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used for inventory management.

•

Collaborate with other technicians to improve processes and enhance team efficiency.

Skills

•

Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in diesel engine repair preferred.

•

Proficiency in welding techniques for various materials.

•

Familiarity with farm machinery operations and maintenance is a plus.

•

Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and effectively.

•

Solid understanding of electrical systems related to fleet vehicles.

•

Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

•

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
