Fleet Maintenance Technician

Job Responsibilities:

-Maintain Driver comfort. (AC/seat/audio/back-up cameras)

-Install and upkeep ladder racks and shelving.

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC service trucks (e.g., oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs) using our full automotive shop with a lift.

- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.

- Ensure trucks meet safety and operational standards.

- Clean and detail trucks to maintain a professional appearance.

- Organize shop and tools to maintain a clean, efficient workspace.

- Maintain accurate service records and manage parts inventory.

- Collaborate with the HVAC team to prioritize truck availability.

Qualifications:

-Clean driving record.

Driving infractions that may disqualify candidates from driving-related jobs typically include:DUI/DWI: Conviction within the last 7 years. Reckless Driving: Conviction within the last 5 years. Driving with Suspended/Revoked License: Conviction within the last 5 years. Hit and Run: Conviction within the last 5 years. Multiple Moving Violations: 3 or more within the last 3 years (e.g., speeding, running red lights). At-Fault Accidents: 2 or more within the last 3 years.

- All experience levels welcome. We have a culture of mentoring success.

-The ability to find out. (Youtube, AI, phone a friend...)

- Proficiency with diagnostic tools, repair equipment, and shop lift operations.

- Knowledge of diesel and gasoline engines, electrical systems, and HVAC-related vehicle components.

- Experience with vehicle cleaning and detailing preferred.

- Valid driver’s license; ASE certification preferred but not required.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Hourly Rate:

- $25 – $35/hour, based on experience and certifications.
