This role offers a unique blend of operational coordination, compliance oversight, and strategic planning. You’ll manage everything from vehicle acquisition and maintenance to DOT compliance and reimbursement programs, ensuring our fleet runs smoothly and safely. You’ll work across departments, vendors, and systems to support drivers, optimize resources, and uphold regulatory standards.

- Coordinate vehicle leasing, maintenance, and disposal activities.
- Manage driver onboarding, policy compliance, and fringe deductions.
- Oversee DOT and CDL compliance, including drug and alcohol testing.
- Maintain secure records and ensure regulatory documentation is complete.
- Administer the reimbursement program and monitor driver eligibility.
- Review fuel usage and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Support plant equipment acquisition and upfit needs.
- Serve as the escalation point for fleet-related issues.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, administration, finance, or business.
- Experience in inventory control, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and fleet safety practices.
- Strong organizational and data management skills.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and vendors.
- Knowledge of IRS regulations related to reimbursement programs.
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
