We are seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to lead and manage all aspects of our fleet operations. Our fleet consists of approximately 5,000 assets, including passenger vehicles, trailers, excavators, bore rigs, and a wide range of specialized equipment. This role will oversee a team of nine professionals in a fast-paced environment, ensuring exceptional customer service and operational support for our field teams.

The Fleet Manager will play a key role in carrying these values forward while driving operational excellence.
- Lead Fleet Management Operations: Oversee all aspects of fleet management, including licensing, compliance, acquisition & disposal of equipment, telematics, etc.
- Team Leadership & Development: Provide leadership, guidance, and professional development to the fleet professionals.
- System Optimization: Manage the adoption and optimization of fleet management software (FleetFocus).
- Technology Integration: Ensure effective use and integration of current systems (Viewpoint Spectrum, Geotab, WEX) with operations.
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce cost, and service delivery.
- Cross Functional Collaboration: Serve as a key liaison between fleet operations & departments, including safety, accounting, and external vendors, to support business objectives.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, & organizational skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Demonstrated success in leading & developing a team.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics
- 3+ years in fleet management, preferably in construction or utility-related industries- Proficiency in fleet management systems & related tools
- Strong knowledge of DOT Regulations & compliance requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk & working at a computer
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at a time
