The NOV Fleet team engages with vendors and employees across the organization to efficiently administer driver and vehicle requirements as outlined by company policy. The Fleet Specialist will demonstrate excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to apply sound judgment and logic to ensure policy compliance and operational efficiency.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Activate and Terminate drivers within the fleet management company (FMC) database
•Maintain accurate fuel card PINs with issuance for new drivers and cancelation for terminated drivers.
•Administer and Monitor MVR process as required by policy for new hires and candidates
•Coordinate with field managers the transfer and/or pick up and disposal of vehicles
•Make daily updates of company vehicle inventory via FMC website, updating vehicle status, entering monthly mileage information, deleting termed vehicles, and adding acquired vehicles as needed.
•Work with FMC Title and Registration Liaison and drivers to obtain all pre-requisites for state transfers, registration renewals, and ownership changes.
•Download & review Daily Inventory Reports, Weekly Active Driver Report, Termed Employee Report, and send weekly Payroll Report to Turn On-Off Lease Deductions.
•First point of contact for the field for general fleet inquiries.
•Crosstrain on Maintenance – work with FMC and field managers to assess maintenance charges and authorize repairs and learn the approval process for Maintenance Requests.
•Crosstrain on Accidents – work with FMC and location to make sure accidents are reported and accountability is assessed in line with policy.

SKILLS
•Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word
•Extensive knowledge of Excel
•Ability to learn multiple web-based portals from variety of vendors
•Excellent attention to detail
•Easily adapts to change and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
•Excellent communication skills written and verbal including ability to communicate with all levels of personnel from field administrators to Presidents.
•Strong ability to multi-task
•Ability to work independently with limited supervision as well as actively engage in team environments.
Strong logical thinking skills for problem solving
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree preferred but will consider equivalent work experience.
