Job Summary:
The Fleet Support Specialist is an entry-level role designed to assist the Fleet Coordinator and Equipment Coordinator in their daily operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient management of our fleet and equipment. This position requires a candidate with a clean driving record, proficiency in using Google Maps and pin drops to locate destinations, and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately. Candidates must be self-starters who do not require constant direction.
Key Responsibilities:
•Assist the Fleet Coordinator with routine vehicle inspections, maintenance scheduling, cleaning, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
•Support the Equipment Coordinator in tracking and managing the company's equipment inventory, checking in and out, and providing routine checks and updates.
•Use Google Maps and pin drops to locate destinations and accurately deliver equipment or vehicles as required.
•Follow detailed instructions to complete assigned tasks, ensuring all work meets company standards.
•Assist in preparing and maintaining accurate records related to fleet and equipment management.
•Communicate effectively with team members, reporting any issues or discrepancies promptly.
•Perform other related duties as assigned by the Fleet Coordinator or Equipment Coordinator.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
•High school diploma or equivalent.
•Valid driver's license with a clean and insurable driving record.
•Proficiency in using Google Maps, including pin drops, for navigation and location purposes.
•Proficient in using fleet software applications.
•Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions.
•Excellent communication and organizational skills.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and equipment handling is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
•Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 80 pounds.
•Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
•Ability to drive for extended periods as required.
Work Environment:
•The role involves both office work and fieldwork, requiring flexibility and adaptability.
•Depending on operational needs, the candidate may be required to work occasional weekends or after-hours.
