Hybrid Remote; some on-site work required in Centennial, CO

SUMMARY: Primarily responsible for asset tracking, maintenance, scheduling and performance of the company’s assets. This would include capital equipment, tooling, trailers and vehicles.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

FLEET MANAGEMENT:

· Manage day-to-day operations of the fleet, including vehicle maintenance, inspections and repairs.

· Develop and implement policies and procedures for fleet management to enhance efficiency and safety.

· Monitor vehicle performance metrics and maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules and repairs.

· Oversee fuel management programs to optimize fuel consumption and reduce costs.

· Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations regarding vehicle operations.

· Provide training and support to drivers on best practices for vehicle operation and safety protocols.

· Analyze fleet data to identify trends and areas for improvement in operational efficiency.

ASSET MANAGEMENT

· Oversee the acquisition, tracking, maintenance and disposal of assets.

· Develop and implement asset management strategies, policies and procedures.

· Maintain up-to-date asset records, including acquisition, disposal and maintenance history.

· Manage asset inventory and ensure that all assets are properly tagged and accounted for.

· Coordinate with other departments to ensure that assets are used efficiently and effectively.

· Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.

· Knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices and safety regulations.

· Strong analytical skills, problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.

· Solid negotiation skills for securing favorable terms with suppliers.

· Proven relationship management skills for building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.

· Knowledge of ERP systems for asset tracking and preparing purchase orders.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

· Bachelor’s degree in business administration or transportation/logistics management, or equivalent experience in the industry.

· 3+ years of experience in a Fleet/Asset Coordinator role for a manufacturing or distribution company.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
