Revolution Power Solutions (RPS) is seeking a Financial Controller to lead our finance and accounting operations, reporting directly to the RPS President. This role will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, job costing, treasury, payroll, and internal controls, ensuring the company maintains strong financial health as we continue to grow. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, financial expertise, and experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Provide timely and accurate financial reporting to senior management by evaluating, analyzing, and summarizing financial data.
- Manage and monitor all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets and streamline financial processes.
- Oversee job cost accounting and continuously improve financial processes to support company growth.
- Establish financial and operational benchmarks, budgets, and reporting standards on a monthly and annual basis.
- Develop and maintain financial controls and guidelines to optimize cash flow, forecasting, and treasury operations.
- Assist in near-term and long-term budgeting and forecasting, working closely with the leadership team.
- Manage banking relationships and treasury operations, including cash flow forecasting and optimization.
- Maximize payroll efficiency through improved processes and systems.
- Support the development and execution of short- and long-term operational strategies alongside senior leadership.
- Assist in the establishment and financial setup of new entities as the organization expands.
- Serve as the primary contact for external auditors, banks, tax advisors, and other financial institutions.
- Lead and mentor the accounting and finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Participate in Board of Directors meetings, providing key financial insights and recommendations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience.- CPA or CGMA certification strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle ERP preferred) and job costing in a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of banking processes, treasury management, and financial regulations.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration across departments.
- Office-based role, with occasional visits to manufacturing areas as needed.
- Manual dexterity required for computer use and financial reporting tasks
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.- 5+ years in a senior-level role (Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, or Controller).
- Experience with companies exceeding $80 million in annual revenue.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, treasury, and financial systems.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local tax compliance.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing company.
