Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to oversee all aspects of our accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in manufacturing accounting and at least 4 years of experience in a similar role. A CPA license is not required, but a strong understanding of cost accounting, job costing, and financial reporting in a manufacturing environment is essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting staff, functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.

- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.

- Maintain and improve job cost tracking systems to ensure accurate production and project costing.

- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and applicable regulations.

- Partner with leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations for business growth.

Qualifications

- Minimum 2 years of manufacturing accounting experience required.

- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, job costing, and inventory management.

- Proficiency in accounting software (experience with ERP/MRP systems a plus).

- Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyze complex financial data and budgets.

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (CPA a plus but not required).
