Field Technician / Driller's Assistant

Olympus Technical Services, Inc., an employee-owned environmental services firm specializing in hazardous waste site remediation, mine reclamation, environmental engineering, environmental drilling, and emergency spill response is seeking field technicians/driller's assistants in Billings, MT.

Duties:

Construction, Demolition, Excavation, Drilling, and Industrial Cleaning field services.

Emergency response for hazardous materials.

Driller's Assistant.

Installation, maintenance, and operation of remedial systems.

Groundwater Monitoring.

Soil Sampling.

Qualifications:

40-Hour Hazardous Waste Operations (HAZWOPER) preferred, but not necessary for qualified individual. HAZWOPER training will be provided by Olympus, if necessary.

Good driving record.

Mechanical capabilities required.

Ability to lift 80 pounds.

Travel required (typically Monday through Friday, although may be on weekends for emergency response) primarily in Montana or adjoining states.

Must pass background check.

Ability to pass random drug and alcohol tests.

Compensation:

Hourly $20.00-$25.00 DOE

Overtime pay is 1.5 times hourly wage.

Work days are generally M-F, 8 AM - 5 PM but may be after hours or on weekends. Schedule will vary based on job location and season.
