Testing Required:

On-Site Role: Must be available to work on-site at this assigned work location.

Emergency Response: Yes – Must be available to perform a primary assignment in support of DTE’s emergency response to storms or other events that impact service to our customers.

Job Summary

Samples and analyzes natural gas samples from various Company and customer facilities. Performs on-site testing of natural gas for odor intensity and corrosive constituents, and soil, water, air sampling for environmental and safety investigations. Generates analytical reports and quality control charts. Communicates the outcomes of investigations and analyses to internal and external parties. Assists Materials Testing area as needed. + High school or GED, and the knowledge and capabilities typically acquired through 5+ years of laboratory testing experience or gas/electric field experience + Associate Degree in Chemistry, and the knowledge and capabilities typically acquired through 3+ years of laboratory testing or gas/electric field experience.
