GeoEnv Engineers is hiring an Entry-Level Field Technician to support civil engineering site work across Northern Virginia. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in starting a hands-on career in construction inspection and environmental fieldwork. No prior experience is required—just a willingness to work outdoors and learn on the job.

What You’ll Do:

•

Assist with field inspections of construction sites, stormwater facilities, and erosion control measures

•

Help perform soil sampling, hand auger borings, and other geotechnical investigations

•

Support concrete and compaction testing activities under the supervision of senior staff

•

Take field notes, photographs, and help prepare basic site reports

•

Work safely in outdoor conditions and lift up to 50 pounds as needed

Qualifications:

•

Interest in construction, engineering, or environmental work

•

Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions

•

Strong work ethic and attention to detail

•

Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Nice to Have (but not required):

•

Coursework or interest in civil engineering, environmental science, or construction

•

Willingness to pursue field certifications (we’ll help you get them!)
