This position will be based out of Houston, TX but will be travelling to remote job sites the majority of the time, must be comfortable working nights.
- Operate natural gas compression equipment at field locations throughout the U.S.
- Perform tasks and duties for equipment placement, hook up, and start up
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain compression equipment and hardware throughout project duration
- Work 12 hour shifts – 6pm - 6am
- Perform tasks and duties for equipment shut down, unhook, and removal from work site
- Understand compression equipment (engine, compressor, cooler, panel) and hardware (such as piping, valves, hoses, regulators, actuators)
- Understand company policies and procedures and equipment limitations
- Knowledge of natural gas industry, compression equipment and theory, mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of oil and gas operations and expectations
- Excellent communication skills with other team members and customers
- Possess and maintain a valid state driver's license
- Able to lift heavy equipment in an outdoor environment
- 3+ years experience with natural gas compression field operations
Job Type: Full-time + Over time after 40 hours at 1.5x hourly rate
