Field Service Technician

Job Overview

Dynamic Well Service is seeking a skilled and dependable Field Service Mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of oilfield support equipment, including light plants, front-end loaders, frac tanks, and other specialized machinery. This role is hands-on, field-based, and essential to ensuring our operations run safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on company equipment.

- Perform preventive maintenance on light plants, front-end loaders, frac tanks, pumps, generators, and other oilfield machinery.

- Conduct routine servicing, including oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, and component adjustments.

- Maintain accurate maintenance and service records.

- Operate equipment for testing and troubleshooting purposes.

- Respond to emergency breakdowns in the field to minimize downtime.

- Ensure all repairs meet safety, quality, and performance standards.

- Communicate effectively with supervisors and operators regarding equipment status and repair needs.

- Adhere to company safety protocols, environmental regulations, and industry standards.

Qualifications

Required:

- Proven experience as a diesel, heavy equipment, or oilfield mechanic.

- Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and welding/fabrication.

- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

- Proficient with hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop machinery.

- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

- Ability to work in varying outdoor conditions and lift up to 75 lbs.

Preferred:

- CDL Class A or B license.

- Prior oilfield equipment maintenance experience.

- Basic computer skills for record-keeping.

- Field-based position with travel to various job sites.
