As a Field Service Manager at Modern Rentals, you'll be the leader of a large maintenance company. You'll have the opportunity to hire and motivate an amazing team of service technicians on the road. You will continuously improve efficiency and customer satisfaction by ensuring that equipment is properly maintained and repaired. You will work closely with the Branch Manager and help establish a profitable branch through your leadership, service and maintenance knowledge, and business management. This path will allow you to move into a management position at Modern Rentals. We'll provide you with the tools, technology, and support you need to deliver great work. You will be proud of the work done by your employees, your service workshop and the rental of the equipment necessary for the construction of our future. Additional responsibilities (non-exhaustive list):
- Motivate, mentor and train technicians to exceed time and quality standards and comply with standard repair and maintenance processes
- Distribution of staff members, based on skills and workload.
- Leading, planning, measuring and continuously improving all service and maintenance performance measures•Overseeing parts department activities to ensure optimal customer service, higher technician/shop productivity / OEM of equipment and maximum cost control.
- Evaluation of the performance and promotion opportunities of the members of the department Identification and organization of the necessary technical training and constant support.
- Promotion of a culture of safety and discipline through leadership, exemplary individual adherence to safety standards, sense of responsibility and communication
- High school diploma required; Business school degree is an asset; Baccalaureate preferred
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record•Extensive experience in fleet maintenance and leadership
- Five years of service and maintenance experience or a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience•Strong leadership skills and strong ability to motivate people
- Superior customer service skills•Important knowledge of maintenance and income accounting of a rental company•Basic computer skills, especially with Microsoft Excel
This position is considered a safety critical position for the purposes of Modern Rentals' policies and procedures. As a Field Service Manager at Modern, you'll be the leader of a major Rental enterprise. You'll have the opportunity motivate an amazing team of Field Service Technicians. You will have direct supervision responsibilities for all field repair and maintenance employees. You'll continually improve efficiency and customer satisfaction, by ensuring equipment is properly maintained and repaired. You will work closely with the Branch Manager, and help build a profitable location with your leadership, service and maintenance knowledge, and business management.
