Job Title: Service Lead

About the Role
We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Service Lead to support and guide our field service operations in Coral Springs. This newly created role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a strong grasp of service workflows, and is comfortable collaborating with both technicians and leadership. You’ll serve as a key operational hub—monitoring service job progress, managing job documentation, supporting dispatch, and ensuring accurate and timely billing.
Key Responsibilities
•Oversee daily service job activity using Automated Service software, Sage, and GPS tracking tools
•Review all completed technician jobs each day to ensure:
•Accurate labor time and parts usage
•Correct job status transitions (to “Bill”)
•On Mondays, calculate and enter weekly employee time sheets for Branch Manager approval
•Collaborate closely with service technicians and support teams to resolve operational issues and ensure job completion
•Escalate any significant service or branch issues to the Texas Branch Manager
•Assist with obtaining customer purchase orders for completed work
•Step in to support or cover dispatch responsibilities when the dispatcher is unavailable
•Send service sheets to customers via email in a timely manner
•Support continuous improvement by taking on new tasks, defined in partnership with the Branch Manager and VP of Operations, after onboarding
What You Bring
•Experience working in a field service, maintenance, or dispatch support role (generator, electrical, mechanical, or HVAC industry a plus)
•Strong working knowledge of job tracking, dispatch software, or ERP platforms (Automated Service, Sage, etc.)
•High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
•Effective communication skills with field techs, management, and customers
•Problem-solving mindset and the ability to escalate and act decisively when needed
•Ability to handle sensitive service and customer issues with discretion
