The position will be responsible for project-level safety leadership on a pipeline construction project site in Nebraska. The Field Safety Manager will report to the Project Safety Manager or other assigned leadership.

- Manage safety on the assigned project in the field with the crews. (This is not an office position)
- Follow audit schedules based on event trends, indicators, and safety needs as determined by leadership.
- Oversee injury management and establish local resources and relationships.
- Provide project safety leadership.
- Apply field experience in pipeline construction.
- Read and comprehend standards; know pipeline construction best practices.
- Participate in Client company safety audits and coordinate corrective actions.
- Review weekly Ops Reports for safety planning.
- Participate in root cause analysis, investigations, and case management.
- Complete monthly expense reports and direct report purchases.
- Coordinate, manage, and respond to OSHA audits.
- Review events for indicators and ensure comprehensive safety planning and reporting.
- Generate Health and Safety Plans, weekly safety discussions, and other documents as required.
- Availability 24/7 in support.
- Perform miscellaneous duties assigned- 2+ years of pipeline construction experience or 2+ years in a construction or industrial safety/quality-related role.
- Valid driver’s license, adhering to approved safe driving behaviors, and following all DMV rules and regulations.
- DOT Medical Card – If driving company vehicle
- Maintain and enhance knowledge of pipeline construction safety.
- Uphold professional interaction, appearances, and communication at all levels of the organization.
- On-call availability 24/7 or as assigned, including after-hours, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to travel as needed from an assigned location.

- Lift heavy loads, up to 50 lbs. repeatedly
- Exposure to loud noise level in the work environment
- Manual dexterity for use of equipment
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
