Location: Frederick, CO- Traveling throughout Wyoming and Colorado
Exempt (salary) or nonexempt (hourly) position: Nonexempt
Pay: $29-$33/hour based on experience and qualifications
Hours: Monday-Friday 7am to 5pm, with overtime and additional days as project requires.
An employee in this position is responsible for in-person field safety audits, emergency response, supervision of field safety, all safety aspects of the division or project, overseeing progress along the way in a timely and cost-effective manner. Candidates must have attention to detail, strong communication skills, strong leadership skills, and be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office. They should have a teamwork mentality and willingness to perform other duties as required. Most importantly, candidates must be safety conscious of themselves and everyone around them.
This role requires an extensive amount of travel, spending most of the time supervising crews onsite throughout Wyoming and Colorado. Additional states may be added as workload expands.
An ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in a Safety related role. Competent in the use of electronic devices and software such as PC’s, iPads, smartphones, Microsoft Office, Applications. This is a direct hire opportunity with great benefits.

- Supervising safety of day-to-day field operations, under guidance of Safety Program Manager
- Communicating issues with Safety Program Manager, and document as required
- Reporting all claims (i.e., work comp, property, auto and liability) directly to Safety Program Manager
- Attending client-based safety meetings in representation of Centerline
- Troubleshooting issues in the field, prioritizing safety, compliance and productivity
- Maintaining safety and compliance-related field documentation
- Conducting/coordinating toolbox talks and JSA meetings
- Creating and ensuring a positive, professional company image on the job site
- Assist Safety Program Manager with safety and health program evaluations of construction activities
- Assist with coordinating return-to-work and “restricted duty” job descriptions on each project.
- Point of Contact for all aspects relating to safety for assigned project/division
- Understand and follow all client, regulatory, and company policies
- Must be able to coordinate and collaborate with multiple personnel from the field to the office
- Must be able to communicate effectively, have good teamwork skills and able to understand, comprehend, and follow directions in the workplace
- Accept supervisory accountability for the health and safety of all subordinate workers
- Accept supervisory accountability for the health and safety for the assigned crews/projects
- Assist with identifying, assessing, and controlling hazards
- Proven work experience in safety related role
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Willingness and ability to travel throughout Wyoming and Colorado visiting crews on-site- this is a traveling position
- Advanced knowledge of safety processes in the Oil and Gas industry preferred

- Possession of a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- A high awareness of safety and compliance with company safety rules is required at all times

- Certified in First Aid and CPR preferred
- Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred yet not required
- The work environment involves both office desk work and frequent attendance on active outdoor construction areas.
- Workers will be required to use appropriate personal protective equipment, which may include respirators, fall protection, safety glasses, hi-vis clothing, hard hat, etc., as conditions, tasks, and requirements warrant
- Work situations may include being in the presence of “rotating equipment” and energized equipment. As such, workers must be cognizant of ensuring that the equipment is “Locked Out” before working within machine guards or in proximity to energized components
- Work situations include working on / near live utility lines such as natural gas, water, and electric lines
- Workers may work on and near heavy excavation equipment, vehicles, and trailers
- Work is regularly outside year-round and exposure to natural elements such as heat, cold, wind, and sun is to be expected
- The essential functions of this position consist of spending long periods of time in the physical activities of sitting at a desk, standing, walking, climbing, lifting, carrying, twisting, kneeling, stooping, bending and crouching as required. This position also involves handling equipment ranging in weight from 1-50 lbs.
- Work may be performed in adverse environmental conditions such as confined spaces, high and low temperature environments, adverse weather conditions, etc.
