Field Safety Advisor

We are seeking a qualified Field Safety Advisor to join our team on a fixed-term contract in Edmonton, AB. As a employee with our company, you will be working on various job sites under the direction of our clients, providing safety oversight and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct site inspections and safety audits at job sites to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

- Provide safety training and guidance to employees on best practices and safety protocols.

- Assess and mitigate potential hazards in field operations.

- Ensure proper use of safety equipment and enforce safety standards on site.

- Work closely with client teams to promote and maintain a strong safety culture on each job site.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in the safety field, with a proven track record.

- NCSO/OH&S Certification (or equivalent).

- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and standards.

- Ability to identify potential hazards and implement safety solutions.

- Own transportation and able to start within the next few weeks in the Edmonton area.

- Please Note: Alcohol and drug test required prior to starting employment.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
