The Field Operations Leader plays a vital role in ensuring that daily field operations run smoothly, safely, and in alignment with Hurricane Fence Company’s mission and standards. This position exists to provide on-site leadership, accountability, and operational coordination for all installation activities within the local market. The Field Operations Leader ensures crews are equipped, prepared, and supported to complete high‑quality installations efficiently while fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and professional growth. Acting as the bridge between field teams, project managers, and operational leadership, this role is responsible for maintaining production consistency, resolving challenges in real time, and developing the next generation of field leaders.
- Lead and coach field crews on-site, ensuring adherence to project specifications.
- Coordinate schedules, materials, and logistics with Project Managers and Yard Teams.
- Conduct daily safety briefings and quality inspections.
- Mentor crew leaders and installers for performance and development.
- Partner with operations leadership to ensure on-time, high-quality completion.
- 3+ years of field leadership experience (fencing or construction).
- A people-first approach to leadership and accountability.
- Preferred Certifications: First Aid/CPR; Competent Person Training; equipment certifications
- relevant to fence installation (e.g., skid steer, mini excavator, auger, forklift).
- Willingness to submit to pre-employment and random background checks
