DESCRIPTION

The Installation Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that projects are organized, timely, and profitable. This includes, but is not limited to, estimating, drafting agreements, change orders, submittals, and takeoffs. The Installation Coordinator will work closely with our engineering team, manufacturing team, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

•

Coordinate with project foreman regarding project work requirements

•

Create cost estimates for labor, supplies, materials, and other project costs

•

Draft proposals, agreements, and change orders. Follow through on document execution.

•

Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers

•

Create work schedules

•

Make changes in the operation as necessary to best meet construction deadlines

•

Implement management techniques that are cost-effective and efficient

•

Creating long and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines

•

Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project

•

Communicate with leadership to keep the project aligned with company goals

•

Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected

•

Build and maintain positive working relationships with leadership team, employees, clients, and other stakeholders

•

Hire, train, and coach staff to ensure proper standards are followed

•

Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

•

5+ years of relevant construction experience is required – carpentry/framing preferred

•

Bachelor’s degree is preferred

•

Advanced Microsoft Office skills

•

Bluebeam knowledge preferred

•

AutoCAD experience preferred

•

Estimating software experience preferred

•

Ability to efficiently read and navigate architectural and structural design drawings

•

Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills

•

Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills

•

Must be able to prioritize work to meet scheduled deadlines while handling multiple tasks

•

Ability to lead and organize a team in person and remotely with minimal direction

•

Superior attention to detail, organization, and time management skills

•

Ability to read, analyze, interpret and communicate reports and directives
