The Lead Facility Technician will be responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of a cryogenic gas plant and booster station, in addition to being the extension of the Operations Supervisor while also planning routine and extended maintenance work. The Lead Facility Technician will also be required to interface with multiple departments in the business including engineering, safety, environmental, PSM, and reliability. This position will be reporting to our facility in Roggen, CO .

Responsibilities May Include

Performs the safe Startup, Shutdown, and operation of various degrees of equipment and processing systems in cryogenic gas plant that is a PSM regulated facility.

Works with others to optimize processing throughout the facility and maintain proper product specifications

Conducts routine inspection of equipment and facilities (equipment health, security, AVO- Audio, Visual, Olfactory)

Performs a variety of light Mechanical Maintenance and Repair duties

Participates in and successfully completes training programs, risk management reviews, and safety meetings required to comply with state and federal regulations and company policy. Be a key contributor in the MOC program.

Reviews, updates, and creates operating procedures as necessary to ensure compliance of all company and industry standards to meet requirements.

Accurately completes documentation such as; timesheets, SAP work orders, safe job plans and work permits

Optimizes work in most effective (efficient and leveraging priority) manner, in alignment with the Maintenance Work Process (MWP) and within the tenets of S.A.F.E. and Stop Work Authority.

Responds to operational emergencies as a member of an emergency response team.

Performs and accurately documents regulatory required inspections. Extensive time spent planning shutdowns and outages.

Ability to oversee contractors providing specialty services

Assist in managing vacation and call out schedules

Provide training to employees to ensure internal, and agency standards are met

Assist the Operations Supervisor to maintain operating budget integrity

Work directly with Operations Supervisor to facilitate change throughout the business unit

Be a key contributor in the PHA (Process Hazard Analysis) program

Required Qualifications:

Legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions

High School Diploma or GED

5 or more years of oil and gas operations experience

Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record

Willing and able to, work shift schedule as needed

Willing and able to, with or without reasonable accommodations:

Work overtime, weekends, holidays, and varied shifts as needed

Work inside gas plant conditions as well as in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity

Work in loud environment

Regularly stoops, squats, kneels and crouches for durations up to 3 minutes

Periodically pulls/pushes doors open to move around the gas plant

Lift a minimum of 50 pounds

Occasionally exerts pulling force of 130 pounds

Occasionally may climb A-frame and fixed vertical ladders

Preferred Qualifications:

Completion of Tech school program

Work experience in oil and gas upstream, midstream, and downstream operations.

The Phillips 66 Midstream business is a safe, reliable, and trusted provider for the movement, storage, gathering, and processing of liquid or gas energy via pipelines or terminals. We are an industry leader in logistics and operate or manage more than 70,000 miles of pipelines that transport crude oil from oil fields to refineries and finished products from refineries to storage terminals. We operate 39 terminals that supply finished products to consumer gas stations, as well as crude oil and NGL storage terminals and NGL fractionation facilities. We also provide the connectivity between the various Phillips 66 business units.

Compensation:

The base pay range for this role is $105,300 - $127,000 depending on a candidate's relevant work experience and education.
