CRBR is looking for Leaders! The Lead Construction Technician is responsible for having Journeymen knowledge or 10 years’ experience in all trades including carpentry, tiling, painting, framing, roofing, and dry wall to light plumbing and electrical. This position will perform all trades in the construction, repair and maintenance of structures and perform related work as required. This person has mastered working with extreme precision, timeliness, and delivering exceptional services. This position can problem solve out tin the field and can work as a partner in onboarding and training all new employees. As the Reconstruction Technician III you are a “pro” in the business and Superintendents can lean on you to supervise some crews. This position makes you eligible to apply for a exempt- level management position.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Completes demolition work including demolishing and disposing of walls, appliances, countertops, sinks, cabinets, and flooring.
•Completes temporary Emergency Services such as Roof Tarps and Board Ups
•Completes carpentry work including repairing cabinets, replacing cabinet fronts, installing molding and baseboard, installing doors, installing countertops, building walls, replacing doorknobs and cabinet catches, installing door locks, installing window screens, and installing smoke detectors.
•Installs thermostats and appliances including garbage disposals, dishwashers, and window air conditioning units.
•Completes electrical tasks including installing light fixtures and replacing light switches and outlets.
•Completes plumbing work including installing sinks, faucets, and toilets to specified measures.
•Completes quality work to Patch/repair, texture, and paints walls.
•Cleans affected building common areas near work areas by vacuuming and wiping surfaces.
•Works safely at all times by using protective equipment, following all safety precautions, and keeping work area neat and organized.
•Takes responsibility for all company owned tools and supplies by monitoring tool usage and utilizing lock boxes to secure tools overnight.
•Updates jobs daily using CRBR software
Qualifications:
•Must have 10 years’ experience in Construction or specific Trade
•Own and use hand tools or power tools common to the type of work we do
•Must have vehicle to haul own tools/supplies
•Works diligently when independent
•Can work with no supervision, and supervise others on same job
•Knows how to problem solve issues in the field
•Ability to partner with new technician to educate and support them
•Has understanding of company day-to-day such as budgets and scheduling
•Ability to complete paperwork timely
•Can manage a calendar and time manage appropriately
•Working knowledge of mobile applications including email, video and photo messaging, calendars and electronic time keeping.
•Ability to be on-call and maintain great attendance
•Works daily adhering to company safety standards
•Communicates effectively to deliver exceptional customer service

Work Environment:
•Jobsites may vary from very clean environments to very dirty environments or other unsanitary conditions. Protective gear is available for use and is required on some heavily contaminated work sites.
•The worker is subject to atmospheric conditions. One or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system of the skin: fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation.
•Please note that this position could never be performed remotely.
•Willingness to work in environments that may involve exposure to dust, smoke, debris, mold, asbestos, or other hazardous materials, often in varying weather conditions.
•Remote work would never be option for this position
