Job Summary
To plan and/or coordinate the installation, testing, inspections and repair of electrical, metering, controlling devices within the Freeport LNG facilities. Use knowledge of the principles and techniques commonly used in the electrical field. Use knowledge of programming, diagnostics and troubleshooting of all Electrical equipment in the Freeport LNG facilities. Ensure that all electrical equipment function safely, efficiently, and reliably. Maintain all electrical related equipment within budgetary limits by utilizing allocated resources, with the objectives of meeting business goals for production while minimizing unscheduled down time. Assist the FLNG Maintenance Electrical Supervisor with the day-to-day maintenance activities and provide mentoring / coaching to the “A” and “B” Electrical Technicians and nested contractors as needed. Assist in establish and maintaining minimum and maximum spare parts for the facilities and help in the development and validation of all electrical procedures.
Location/Travel Information
This position will be based at the Terminal Facility, LQF or PTF, with travel to off-site locations as required. This position requires the incumbent to hold a valid, unexpired driver license at all times in order to perform the essential functions of the job.
Duties/Responsibilities
•Take lead role in completion of day-to-day operations, routine and scheduled maintenance tasks and appropriate reports
•Organize and distribute rolling 2-week workload plan
•Facilitate daily toolbox meetings
•Verify Maintenance Feedback Forms, filled out for each job
•Complete EOD and EOW shift reports
•Utilize SAP to review and TECO work orders on a daily basis by verifying documentation requirements; flip notifications as required
•Ensure work packets are complete and team members have written permits for the following days planned work.
•Maintain skill matrix checklist for electrical technicians
•Provide assistance to the Maintenance Electrical Supervisor for day-to-day maintenance activities
•Work as liaison between operations and Electrical group on weekends and Holidays.
•“Step Up” for Electrical Supervisor as needed
•Attend Risk Review meetings
•Point of contact for procedure review and assist with updates
•Assist planners, coordinate, and provide technical support for instrument and electrical systems job plans at the facility.
•Ensure facility controls, machinery, etc., function safely, efficiently, reliably and within budgetary limits utilizing allocated resources, with the objective of meeting business goals for production while minimizing unscheduled equipment down time.
•Provide mentoring/coaching to less qualified employees, intervene throughout the day to solve problems and questions raised by Electrical team members
•Lead efforts to develop and implement changes to improve operational efficiency and safety.
•Install, test, repair, inspect and maintains metering and recording instruments, controlling devices, analytical instrumentation and performs related work as required.
•Troubleshoot and repair motor control centers, electrical distribution systems, motors, and other electrical equipment up to 138kv.
•Make periodic preventative maintenance inspections of metering control instruments, diagnosing existing or potential trouble; clean, lubricate, calibrate and adjusts as conditions indicate. Keep accurate records, make verbal and written reports of work performed.
•Accountable for assisting in determining warehouse stock requirements and recommended inventory levels.
•Assist in evaluating bids and provide advice to line organizations of the best value regarding on-site and off-site repairs, including materials procurement.
•Provide technical advice/support to Maintenance, Operations and Engineering Support TEAMS as requested.
•Supervise and Cross Train new or less experienced employees.
•Other duties as assigned and deemed necessary by facility supervision.

Essential Functions
•Must comply with all facility safety, environmental, and health requirements.
•Accountable for the day-to-day Electrical Maintenance functions associated with the Safe, Reliable and Efficient operation of the Freeport LNG Plant, including all regulatory requirements.
•Basis understanding of SAP System, or other Maintenance Data System.
•Ability to operate various equipment required to complete instrument and electrical related tasks including forklifts, scissor lifts, extended booms and JLGs.
•Ability to work from heights of 150’ climb flights of stairs carrying 25# tool bag or equipment
•Participate in call out/on call requirements.
•Perform energy isolation lockout/tagout procedure (LOTO)
•Provide work direction, oversight, and inspect other work provided by third party contractors
Minimum Qualification/Work Experience
Minimum Education Required: High School Graduate or GED equivalent
Minimum Experience
Required: 7+ years Electrical experience in large industrial plants
Preferred Education: Associates/Tech. Degree in Electrical Technology
Preferred Experience: 5+ years Electrical experience in large industrial plants
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
•The safe use of a wide variety of hand and power tools, electronic and electric test equipment as related to field and shop work and safe work practices.
•Inspecting, testing, repairing, installing industrial electrical according to established procedures and standards, working from and interpreting wiring and specification drawings.
•Communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships.
•Keep accurate, complete records and prepare reports from database software.
•Able to read and understand plant P&ID and Loop Drawings
•Able to read and understand one-line, three-line and schematics drawings.
•Able to develop appropriate maintenance procedures using vendor O&M manuals or BIC practices.
•Must be able to read, understand and adhere to HSE policies, including MSDS systems.
•Must be experienced in the use of PC equipment including software such MS Office and PowerPoint.
•Good understanding of PMCS and SEL Systems.
•Ability to understand and participate in the maintenance budget process.
•Ability to supervise multiple projects (planning, organizing, oversight). Good written/verbal technical communication skill. Good analytical problem-solving skills, including root cause failure.
•Computer-based maintenance system, understanding of NEC standards.

Ensure that HSE concerns are given priority in all activities completed within their area of responsibility. Implement routine inspections to ensure safe operating conditions.
