We’re looking for an Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT II) to join our Facilities & Storage Risk Assessment team. In this role, you will contribute to the development and continuous improvement of quantitative risk models that support the safe and reliable operation of Enbridge’s facilities and storage assets. You’ll collaborate with multi-functional partners and apply your engineering knowledge to support risk‑informed decision‑making across the organization.

- Develop and maintain quantitative risk models using assets, operational, and inspection data.
- Apply engineering fundamentals to build an understanding of asset integrity, hazards, failure modes, and risk drivers.
- Perform reliability and life‑cycle analyses using established tools and methodologies.
- Assess and document data quality, assumptions, limitations, and uncertainties.
- Identify and evaluate hazards and risks to support risk‑driven inspection, maintenance, and mitigation strategies.
- Conduct analyses aligned with internal governance, procedures, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to validate findings and implement practical solutions.
- Present technical results clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Participate in continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and professional development.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, or related).
- 2–4 years of engineering or analytical experience.
- Understanding engineering principles relevant to facilities and asset integrity.
- Familiarity with quantitative or semi‑quantitative analytical methods.
- Ability to assess data quality and document technical findings clearly.
- Commitment to continuous learning, professional growth, and ethical engineering practice.
- Knowledge of risk concepts, including hazard identification and consequence analysis.
- Experience with tools such as Python, ReliaSoft, or SQL.
- Office‑based role with weekly travel possible between sites.
- Occasional travel required within Ontario and nationally to other company locations.
- This role is designated as safety‑sensitive under applicable Drug & Alcohol policies.For Ontario Candidates- The salary range is in between $80,000 - $90,000 CAD. *Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:
Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to work in tight spaces.
