We are currently seeking skilled and dedicated individuals to join our growing team starting late Summer 2025 at our Trenton, NJ facility.
The Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the setup, daily operations, and continuous improvement of the Trenton facility’s physical infrastructure. This professional-level role ensures the site is safe, efficient, and compliant with all applicable regulations. The Facilities Manager coordinates with vendors, manages facility-related projects, and supports space planning and sustainability initiatives. Strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment is required to be success in this role.
- Lead the setup and ongoing optimization of the Trenton facility, including space planning, office moves, and furniture installations.
- Oversee routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repair activities to ensure operational continuity and workplace safety.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external vendors and contractors, managing service agreements and performance.
- Monitor and manage building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security to ensure functionality and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, service requests, and facility documentation.
- Respond to facility-related issues and emergencies, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to operations.
- Manage inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment, ensuring readiness and cost control.
- Support sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives aligned with company goals.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations and internal policies.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities operations, maintenance, or workplace services, preferably in a corporate or industrial setting.
- Strong working knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and vendor management.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with maintenance or facility management software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service mindset.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs as needed for facility support tasks.
