What You’ll Do

- Perform preventative maintenance on shop machinery, tools, and facility systems

- Troubleshoot and repair basic mechanical, basic electrical, and basic plumbing issues

- Maintain the building, grounds, and safety systems (lighting, HVAC filters, etc.)

- Keep a maintenance schedule and record all work performed

- Order and stock maintenance-related supplies

- Assist with receiving and moving materials when needed

- Support the shop team with light assembly or production tasks during high-demand periods

- Ensure the facility meets safety and OSHA compliance standards

Must-Have Skills & Experience

- Mechanical aptitude with experience in facility or equipment maintenance

- Ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery, tools, and building systems

- Comfortable using basic hand and power tools

- Able to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks

- Physically able to lift/move up to 50–75 lbs regularly

- Familiarity with 5S, or Lean manufacturing

- Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, maintenance logs)

Preferred

- Experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or machining environment

- Forklift certification (or ability to learn)

- Knowledge of OSHA standards and workplace safety practices

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
