SUMMARY Works Under Direct Supervision To Complete Maintenance
activities for a wide variety of plant equipment in Larson?s production
environment. Assist in preventative maintenance programs documenting
activities within the CMM system, help with daily inspections of
Maintenance Items And Equipment Breakdowns/repair. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Tasks: ? Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by
completing preventive maintenance requirements on production machines,
following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer?s
instructions, and engineering specifications. ? Contributes to upkeep
and updating of required paperwork such as records, maintenance logs,
documents, manuals, drawings, PM logs, etc. ? Reads and interprets PM
forms and equipment manuals to perform required maintenance and service.
- Research supplies, parts and tools needed to complete work orders and
initiates requisitions to acquire necessary items with approval from
supervisor ? Assists with the upkeep of supply inventories by checking
stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment,
parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders and verifying
receipt. ? Installs new or repairs/modifies hydraulic, electrical, and
pneumatic equipment as needed. ? Fabricates repair parts by using
maintenance shop and tool room equipment. ? Completes projects with
guidance showing a proactive attitude to minimize equipment down time
and lost production capability. ? Report all equipment concerns to the
Lead. ? Follow verbal and written instructions. ? Adhere to all safety
policies and procedures. ? Adhere to all work instruction requirements.
- Complete all required training program requirements. ? Maintain
equipment and area in a clean and orderly manner. ? Support Safety,
Quality, & Lean Management Programs. ? Other duties as assigned while

of a project or task. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully,

functions. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Vocational high school or
general equivalency diploma (GED or HiSET).; one to five years related
experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and
experience in maintenance activities. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read,
write and verbally communicate in English; interpret documents such as
safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure
manuals; complete routine reports, forms, and other correspondence;
speak effectively before department team members or other employees of
the organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract,
multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers,
fractions, decimals, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to work with concepts such as equations, and proofs of theorems.
COMPUTER SKILLS: Able to effectively use a Windows based operating
system and Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Able to utilize Larsons CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management
System) and MRP (Material Requirements Planning)/ERP (Enterprise
Resource Planning) system
