Fabricator, Fitter, Welder

East Baltimore manufacturer is seeking qualified steel fabricators/fitters/welders

- Mig experience is 100% required

- ALL candidates must be able to pass the AWS D1.1 Welding test

- Must be able to fit & weld various types of steels/aluminum structures, tubing, channel, beams, etc. to close tolerances of a 1/16"

- All jobs are estimated so all candidates must be able to complete projects in a timely manner

- Forming & rolling experience a plus, but can be taught

- 5-10 years minimum experience of hands-on fabrication experience

- 5-10 years minimum of Mig & Tig welding

- 5-10 years reading and understanding blue prints, reading tape measurers, dial calipers, and understand weld symbols

- Able to operate overhead crane safely and effectively when needed as well as any rigging knowledge needed to do so

- Strong attention to detail

- Effective time management skills

- Deburr grind metals as necessary for proper finish and fitment

- Quality and safe work habits are a must, full time position with overtime opportunity
