FUNCTIONAL ROLE: The role of this position is to serve as a lead cabinetmaker on projects, providing direction and focus for subordinate employees.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: H.S. Diploma or equivalent experience
Experience: Minimum 1-2 years hands- on experience leading projects and personnel, preferably in the exhibit industry.
Skills:
•Must have strong leadership skills.
•Knowledge of custom woodworking, mill working, cabinetmaking and finishing.
•Must have sound mathematical and computer literate skills.
•Must be able to communicate ideas and instructions effectively to subordinates.
JOB TASKS AND DUTIES:
•Lead, guide, and train subordinate employees.
•Monitor work habits of employees; motivate and supervise.
•Review the performance of other team members.
•Delegate work assignments when necessary.
•Problem solve and value engineer details with design and detailing department.
•Plan and adhere to the schedule and budgeted hours.
•Distribute Blueprints (AKA: Shop Drawings) to team members.
•Lead and manage installations at client’s location.
•Manage subcontractors at client’s location at Install.

Compensation Range: $30-$34/hr. based on experience and over time.
