We are seeking energetic and dedicated Heavy Equipment Operators. Owl’s Head Alloys is a 100% Employee-Owned (ESOP) offering competitive pay and full benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401 k and 401 k match. No cost for medical, dental and vision. Must be able to work 12-hour shifts. Vacation after 90 days.

12 hour shifts, 4 days on and 4 days off. 7 AM - 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Following standard work instructions, safely and efficiently, each Loader worker shall:

· Follow all safety rules and procedures and wears all assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

· Follow all environmental policies and procedures including reporting incidents/nonconformities when they occur.

· Operate all equipment safely and efficiently according to all plant policies and procedures.

· Report any unsafe or unhealthful workplace conditions or hazards, report damaged equipment and/or spills and environmental hazards..

· Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with all company safety procedures, rules, and regulations.

· Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with co-workers and managers.

· Move levers or controls that operate lifting devices, to load, unload, transport, or stack material.

· Safely move material around the plant or facility.

· Charge material into furnaces.

· Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all plant policies and procedures.

· Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on equipment.

· Assist with production and ensure that production goals are met.

· Contribute to process improvement initiatives and implements best practices.

· Perform all other work as assigned.

Pay: $19.00 - $19.50 per hour

Experience:

- Heavy equipment operation: 3 years (Required)

- Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- West Point, MS 39773 (Required)
