Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the Accounting department to maintain accurate financial records and ensure the company’s compliance with all legal requirements. Your responsibilities will include recording and verifying transactions, work with inventory, manage ARs and balancing the books. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of best practices in accounting.
Responsibilities•Enter financial data and transactions
•Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered
•Analyze budgets and other financial information
•Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
•Complete required tax forms
Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field desired, not mandatory
•At least three years experience as a bookkeeper, or similar position
•Construction background desired
•Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
•Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systems
•Strong mathematical and analytical skills
•Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
