A career as an Executive Assistant will provide a high level of administrative support for the SVP, Chief Financial Officer(Executives) at South Jersey Industries. Must possess exceptional organizational skills and have a keen attention to detail operating in a work environment which requires substantial multitasking. Given the nature of this role, the Executive Assistant must demonstrate professionalism at all times and be able to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations where there may be ambiguity.
- Manages calendar and scheduling of appointments and meetings, expense reporting, preparation of presentation materials.
- Applies substantial knowledge in the coordination of sensitive reports and materials (i.e., budgets, board materials and highly confidential correspondence).
- Coordinates travel arrangements (hotel/air/car reservations, etc) as needed.
- Opens, sorts and routes mail; acknowledges, composes and types routine correspondence.
- Creates presentations and materials in preparation for Board/other meetings.
- Prepares and maintains confidential files, statistical records, correspondence and other miscellaneous office forms.
- Answers and initiates email and telephone inquiries; refers inquiries to supervisor and other departments as necessary.
- Prepares special reports and summaries as required.
- Performs other administrative duties as directed.
- Perform duties inherent in all supervisory, professional and administrative positions. Consistent with all positions in this classification, additional projects, tasks and/or duties beyond what is outlined here may be assigned as required.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Typically requires 2-4 years of related experience
- 2 years of relevant experience in a similar administrative role
- Formal education beyond the secondary level (administrative or business) is highly recommended.

The pay range for this position reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits, bonuses, or other forms of compensation that might be part of the total compensation package.
