Dixie Electric Cooperative, a rapidly growing distribution electric cooperative, is currently seeking an Executive Administrative Assistant to work out of its headquarters located in Montgomery, Alabama.
Duties and responsibilities of the Executive Administrative Assistant include but are not limited to: Providing confidential and all administrative and clerical support for the President/CEO, Executive Staff, and Board of Trustees. Providing high level administrative support to company executives by conducting research, preparing statistical reports, and handling information requests. Performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, managing appointments, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements. Records, transcribes/types, and distributes meeting minutes for Annual meeting, Board of Trustee monthly meetings, special meetings, and committee meetings, as required. Responsible for writing/preparing, editing, and/or typing reports, memos, letters and correspondence and other documents. Prepares and assembles all materials pertaining to Board of Trustee meetings, including agenda, board reports, any mailing of informative, associated materials and other info to ensure Board preparedness for each meeting. Maintain official records and master copies for the Cooperative.
Qualifications include a minimum of 3 years of executive administrative experience supporting C-suite and/or senior level executives. A Bachelor's Degree in a Business-related field (preferred). Must be highly organized and pay close attention to details. Use discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information. Ability to make clear and timely decisions and anticipate needs and issues and act accordingly, in addition to exhibiting good judgement. Must have excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
