Majestic Steel is excited to add an ERP Solutions Specialist to our team! The ERP Solutions Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end-users of the organization’s ERP software system. They will work closely with various areas within the organization to ensure the system’s functionality and maintain efficient operations. This role involves investigating and resolving system issues, providing user training, and maintaining system documentation. This person will also administer and manage security, user access, global system parameters, data integrity and software upgrades.
- Respond to end-users’ requests for technical assistance for the organization’s ERP system.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the ERP system, such as system errors, data discrepancies, and process failures.
- Administer and manage security, user access, global system parameters.
- Serve as a liaison between the Business Systems area and ERP platforms to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system-level issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation of system configuration, processes, and procedures.
- Provide end-user training and support to ensure proper system usage.
- Assist with system upgrades and testing of new software releases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize business processes and improve system performance.
- Provide support for other software applications used in the organization as required.
- Other job-related duties and special projects as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- One year Enterprise Systems support experience.
- Technologically savvy and experience working with Microsoft Office products and Windows-based applications.
- Familiar with core ERP functionality including Sales, Operations and Finance.
- Creative, innovative, analytic, and strategic thinker with problem-solving and follow-through skills.
- Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to document and diagram business processes.
- Highly motivated self-starter, able to prioritize projects, accept responsibility and follow through without close
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to consistently deliver work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent organization and multitasking skills; ability to adapt and pivot between tasks as needed.
- Prompt and professional responsiveness.
- Committed to ongoing learning in project management and contributing to diverse tasks and projects.
- Experience with project management and process improvement methodologies.
- Experience with electronic data exchange (EDI).
- Experience in project management with both internal and external parties.
- 3 years of ERP experience.
- Stratix and/or Invex experience.
- Experience and/or exposure to a steel processing environment.
- Proven ability to work efficiently and effectively from a corporate office and a home office setting.
- Must be able to work outside normal business hours/days as needed.
- Must be able to travel occasionally and work at an outside location.
