The position is responsible for leading the planning and execution of X-energy’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) program, driving business transformation through the implementation of an integrated ERP solution. The role will provide strategic leadership and oversight across program workstreams—including finance, procurement, HR, and operations—while managing internal teams, external vendors, and key stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
- ERP Program Leadership & Governance
- Support the development of the ERP business case, value proposition, and multi-year roadmap in collaboration with executive sponsors and functional leaders.
- Lead the full ERP program lifecycle, from strategic planning and system selection through implementation and post-launch stabilization.
- Establish program governance structures and manage stakeholder alignment, risk escalation, and decision-making processes.
- Ensure the ERP strategy supports X-energy’s long-term business goals and is aligned across all functional areas.
- Program & Project Management
- Oversee day-to-day execution of the ERP program, including project planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk mitigation, and reporting.
- Manage interdependent projects and workstreams with internal staff, consultants, and systems integrators.
- Apply hybrid delivery models (Agile, Waterfall, or blended) tailored to ERP program phases and team needs, ensuring delivery efficiency, compliance, and stakeholder engagement.
- Oversee ERP data migration planning, including data quality, ownership, cleansing, and mapping strategies in coordination with business and technical teams.
- Ensure ERP program design and execution meet applicable regulatory, cybersecurity, audit, and compliance requirements
- Stakeholder & Vendor Engagement
- Serve as the primary liaison between business units, IT, and external vendors to coordinate requirements, track deliverables, and resolve issues.
- Support software and systems integrator evaluation, selection, and contract negotiation.
- Manage vendor performance to ensure scope, timeline, and quality expectations are met.
- Provide executive-level reporting, dashboards, and recommendations to steering committees and senior leadership to enable informed decision-making.
- Change Management & Business Readiness
- Develop and execute change management strategies, including stakeholder communications, training plans, and adoption monitoring.
- Drive process harmonization and standardization across functions, ensuring alignment with ERP capabilities and best practices.
- Lead organizational readiness assessments and coordinate go-live preparations.
- Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
- Define and track ERP program success metrics and ensure continuous alignment with organizational objectives.
- Ensure transition to ongoing system support and optimization after go-live.
- Monitor post-go-live system adoption, track realized business benefits, and lead continuous optimization efforts based on user feedback and evolving business needs.
- Implement continuous improvement practices across ERP delivery and operational processes, incorporating lessons learned, KPIs, and stakeholder input to enhance future performance.
- Maintain professional demeanor and behavior at all times in all forms of communication.
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field required.
- Typically, twelve years of general professional work experience in which ten+ years of progressive IT or business transformation experience, with five+ years leading ERP program or portfolio leadership.- PMP or PgMP certification required; Agile experience or certifications (e.g., PMI-ACP, SAFe, Scrum Master) required.
- Experience managing large-scale ERP implementations involving multiple business functions and stakeholders.
- Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP (including SAP Ariba).
- Experience managing third-party vendors and systems integrators in high complexity program environments.
- Strong understanding of ERP program structures, business process optimization, and system integration principles.
- Proficiency in project portfolio and resource management tools such as Microsoft Project and Jira/Atlassian suite.
- Demonstrated ability to lead hybrid delivery teams using Agile, Waterfall, or blended methodologies appropriate to phase, team composition, and risk profile.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and team leadership skills.
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Work Site Expectations: 4-5 days in office
Travel Expectations: 10% (as needed for project assignment)
Hours: Standard office hours are 8:00am ET to 5:00pm ET, Monday -Friday

A reasonable estimate for this position at the level of experience required is:
$158,625- $264,375. The compensation for this position is comprised of base salary plus an annual short term incentive which is variable, based on scope of responsibility and achievement of goals.
