Your day to day as a Environmental Monitoring Systems (EMS) Technician

In this role, you will be responsible for the critical maintenance and operation of environmental monitoring and compliance systems, ensuring the highest standards of data quality and recordkeeping. With a focus on emissions control, you will manage systems such as the continuous emissions monitoring systems (CEMS) for Unit 1 and Unit 2, Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) inlet nitrogen oxides emission monitoring systems (NEMS), and the Unit 2 Hg process monitor. What Matters Most

To excel as the Environmental Monitoring Systems (EMS) Technician at Golden Valley Electric Association's Healy Power Plant, candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with valid first aid and CPR cards (or the ability to obtain them within 30 days of hire). A valid driver's license is required for this role.
