Duties and Responsibilities:
•Collect samples, for example, air, water, and soil samples.
•Record data and observations in an accurate and well-organized manner.
•Assist in the operation and maintenance of equipment, including laboratory, field, and monitoring equipment.
•Identify and locate landscape resources.
•Read maps and navigate variable terrain, including operating vehicles.
•Prepare technical reports detailing monitoring activities.
•Communicate effectively with project team members.
•Prepare for jobs, including attending daily meetings to discuss upcoming jobs.
•Review Job Environmental Analysis (JEA) reports that detail project-specific environmental issues.
Requirements
•Associates degree or Bachelor’s in Microbiology or closely related field is strongly preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•A minimum experience of 1 year in the environmental field.
•Threatened and endangered species compliance.
•Oil and Gas and/or municipality work experience.
Physical Demands and Work Conditions:
•Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts.
•Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions.
•Occasional exposure to extreme heat or cold (non-weather).
•While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
•The employee must occasionally lift and /or move more than 50 pounds
•Additional remarks regarding work environment: Ability to quickly mobilize from office to field setting.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
