Vitis Energy is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Staff Accountant to join our growing accounting team. This position is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional eager to gain hands-on experience across a range of accounting functions within a multi-entity environment.
Entry-Level Staff Accountant Duties/Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
- Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and journal entries.
- Help maintain accurate financial records and support daily transaction processing.
- Participate in month-end close activities under the supervision of senior staff.
- Provide general administrative and clerical support for the accounting team.
- Assist with audit preparation and documentation gathering.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or actively pursuing final coursework).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central strongly preferred.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to frequently lift or move items up to 10 pounds.
- Must be able to occasionally lift or move items up to 25 pounds.
TRAVEL: As required; potential for overnights is < 10%
