Entry Level Press Brake Operator - Day and Evening

For over 40 years Travis Industries has been designing and building industry leading award winning hearth heating appliances. We are the largest privately held wood, gas, and pellet stove, insert, and fireplace company in America encompassing multiple brands; Fireplace Xtrodinair, DaVinci Custom Fireplaces, Lopi, and Tempest Torch. Our products are all built in the "House of Fire", our Mukilteo Washington facility encompassing over 11 acres of manufacturing under one roof.

- Set up and operate CNC Sheet Metal Equipment while working within precise limits and standards of accuracy.

- Quality work habits and good attendance are keys to success in this position.

- Math aptitude necessary, familiarity with measuring tools helpful (tape, caliper, etc.). Some English literacy required for work order and schedule understanding.

- Shift is Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm OR 2:30pm - 10:30pm

- Must be able to lift 50lbs, stand 8 hours a day, be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and be eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

These are preferred qualifications, however this is an entry level position and we will train the right candidates.

- Mechanical knowledge with a focus on press brake machines

- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations

- Experience with calipers and precision measuring instruments

- Familiarity with CNC programming and machining processes

- Ability to read blueprints and perform quality inspections

- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and tools
