Engineer 2 - Coretrax / Well Intervention & Integrity

This role is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join a dynamic team involved with the development, engineering and delivery of projects within the Expro Coretrax / Well Intervention & Integrity team. Undertake general Engineering tasks as directed by Supervisor / Manager to enable the progress and completion of projects.

- Produce/Review (where applicable) relevant Engineering documentation in compliance with industry standards and Expro’s policies and procedures (design reviews, engineering reports, calculations, project specific scope of supply, P&ID’s, design specs, test procedures, etc.)

- Record Engineering documents into PDM system and configure as required.

- Create and review concept designs through PCL sketches and 3D model files. Create and review new assembly configurations and product variants.

- Produce and review calculations for design verification (applying engineering theory / ability to work from first principles and in compliance with internal procedures, client requirements and industry standards).

- Create Engineering component and assembly drawings.

- Actively participate in Engineering meetings/Design Reviews with internal and external clients and vendors.

- Liaise with other departments and regional teams on work produced to ensure that all processes and procedures are followed.

- Support operational teams and workshop during build, testing, qualification and operations of the equipment as required.

- Perform all tasks in accordance with Expro quality standards, procedures and policies.

- Incorporate Engineering / Operational feedback and lessons learnt for continual improvement.

- Ensure that all operational and w/shop events are properly recorded and reported and ensure that any investigation carried out, establish’ s the correct root cause/s and mitigating measure/s to prevent future happenings.

- Participate in tests, pilots, trials and qualification scopes of new products or equipment to assess suitability.

Job Knowledge And Qualifications

- Degree in engineering

- Work experience in related industry advantageous

- Experience in use of technical software package such as AutoCAD, Solidworks, Mathcad and PDM systems advantageous.

- Proficient in use of Microsoft office (Excel, PowerPoint, Projects and Word).

- Good communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.

- Satisfactory pre-employment screening results (ie background check, drug/alcohol test).
