To promote maximum service to the members by:
- Sharing the various programs and tools offered by MTE with members to solve their energy concerns and to help them become efficient consumers of electricity.
- Promoting the efficient and smart use of electricity and marketing MTE's energy services to members and various businesses and groups involved in the home industry, such as builders, heatingair contractors, realtors, and other energy-related programs.
- Reclassification to the second level requires satisfactory job performance, proficiency in all job responsibilities, successful completion of all required training, and recommendation of supervisor.
To move to the second level, the following items must be successfully completed:
- TVA EnergyRight LPC Advisor Training
- Home Energy Rating System Certification
- Minimum of 100 new and/or existing homes inspected
- Proficiency in NISC with items related to the position
- Hours will be Tuesday through Saturday. Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- Encompass the three virtues of the Ideal Team Player (Humble, HungryPeople Smart).
- Four-year degree from an accredited college is preferred, with emphasis desirable in building science, construction management or other related disciplines.
- Extensive experience in the above fields may substitute for the preferred education. Extensive experience as a licensed electrician and/or an HVAC technician will also be considered.
- Must be able to transport, set up, close down, and maneuver the EnergyHub trailer.
- Must possess a pleasing attitude which is appropriate for getting along with team members, exhibiting professional work etiquette at all times and creating a pleasing work environment.
