Schedule

4x4, 4x2 (Monday - Thursday, Tuesday-Friday), Straight Days, 11.5 hour shifts - 7:00am - 6:30pm

Job Responsibilities And Duties

This position will function as a maintenance electrician for East Boulder's surface facilities. Primary responsibilities will include maintaining a safe and productive work environment; assisting, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all electrical, electronic and instrumentation systems, including high, medium, and low voltage circuits; AC and DC motors and associated variable speed drives; all types of electronic instrumentation; and PLC's, and the documentation related to them. As a secondary function, you may be required to assist with the plant distributive control system (DCS), surface mechanical work and the underground electrical crews as assigned by supervision.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

- Electrical maintenance or electrical construction experience with skills necessary to meet applicable task proficiency matrix.

- Must be able to read electrical schematics.

- Working knowledge of NFPA 70E and NEC electrical standards.

- Proven safety record.

- Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.

- Independent work habits (ability to work with little or no supervision).

- Experience with PLC's Programming, ladder logic and Rockwell automation software.

- Able to meet minimum tool requirements for position.


Preferred

- Computer skills.

- High voltage experience.

- Electrical license/MSHA Electrical Certification Electrical license/MSHA Certification.
